Embark on a Collaborative Community Expedition with talents from around the globe.
In partnership with Tiwale in Malawi, La Fabrique Arts Studio in Tunisia, and Experimental Sound Studio in the US, we invite you to join 11 other music makers, three talents from each hub.
The project unfolds over three dynamic sessions that serve as spaces for growth, diverse peer feedback, and widespread visibility.
Music Maker Global thrives on diverse perspectives and artistic expressions, driven by our collective mission to shatter industry boundaries and create music that resonates across borders. The core of this initiative lies in fostering connections, bypassing traditional gatekeepers, and providing a platform for you to showcase your work to a global network of peers, mentors, and industry experts.
A global stage and dialogue of diverse voices, and weave your story into the first Music Maker Global release:
Every session, encompassing music showcases, feedback sessions, and personal narratives, will be recorded, edited, and transformed into engaging podcasts. Visual content will be curated into dynamic Instagram reels to the corresponding podcasts, enhancing the global impact of this Collaborative Community Expedition.
We will not tolerate any form of hurtful language, discrimination, abuse, or insulting behavior on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, religion, background, skin color, religious belief, sexuality, gender identity, socioeconomic class, caste, disability, or age.
The three dynamic sessions lasting approximately 3 1/2 hours will run over three consecutive days (December 5th, 6th & 7th), with one session each night (noon in Chicago). You'll be physically present at your local hub and seamlessly connected to our online Music Maker platform. This concentrated format is designed to create an intense and generative experience for everyone involved.
As part of this Collaborative Community Expedition, our four organizations and the participating artists will produce 12 podcasts and 12 Instagram reels. These will be featured and highlighted on our platforms and curated into playlists on popular streaming services like SoundCloud and Spotify.
This project is designed for you to forge meaningful connections, learn from diverse perspectives, and cultivate personal and artistic growth. Whether presenting your musical creation, sharing your heartfelt reactions, or the narrative behind your piece, we are here to help you connect, learn, and grow.
To foster community and collaboration, we ask that all participating artists commit to being present for all three sessions. Your unique artistic expression, world perspective, and voice are integral to our collective creative and generative journey.
