Our Reach

Following the success of Ama Groove Songwriting Camp in April 2024, this initiative broadens our reach across South Africa, expanding into Durban and Pretoria and marking our return to Johannesburg.

In collaboration with Music Imbizo, Riky Rick Foundation for the Promotion of Artivism, the Danish Ministry of Culture, the Danish Foreign Ministry, and DPA (Danish Professional Songwriters and Music Producers), we are uniting a vibrant mix of talent from South Africa, Denmark, and Cameroon.

A Nexus for Musical Exchange: This time, ten artists from the inaugural Ama Groove Songwriting Camp will be joined by four new talents from Durban, fostering unprecedented connections and innovation in an empowering space to thrive, co-create, and explore artistic expressions.

At Music Imbizo, artists will present their work to publishers, labels, and radio compilers from across the continent, unlocking new possibilities and partnerships.

Publicity Event

Playlist & Cocktails at Mamakashaka & Friends—an evening dedicated to networking, music appreciation, and celebrating the creative process.

Creative Sanctuary

Additional writing sessions in a vibrant city setting offer a sanctuary for artists to co-create and fine-tune their compositions, fostering creativity and deep artistic focus.

Global Artivism Conference

One Groove representatives will present at the inaugural Global Artivism Conference, focusing on mental health and the creation of safe spaces as a foundation for cultural exchange.
