‘All Yours’ was born in a dynamic session during the inaugural 2024 AmaGroove Residency, co-created by an incredible team of collaborators: Zambian-South African Chipego, Danish producer Pilfinger (Randy Jackson, Jordin Sparks), Ugandan-Danish Elias Njovu (Neon Dreams), South African UBeyond (Sjava), and Una Rams (Black Coffee, Idris Elba). The track came together effortlessly. “There wasn’t a specific conversation that sparked the lyrics — the music led the narrative,” Chipego shares.
The vibe was light and intuitive, reflecting the soft golden-hour energy of the sunset outside the hub. As the beat unfolded, Chipego followed its rhythm, writing lyrics that mirrored the joy and spontaneity of the moment. At one point, the team encouraged her to sprinkle in some of her native magic — and the chorus was born, sung in Bemba, her mother tongue. The result is a playful and soul-filled declaration of love and presence: an invitation to claim the now, fully and freely.
The release of ‘All Yours’ also marks the official launch of our new label — a platform built to support artists in sharing their music on their own terms and to protect their rights. It ensures full financial ownership and the freedom to shape their work without compromise.
And ‘All Yours’ is just the beginning. This track is the first release the upcoming album, exclusively featuring collaborations from the artists of the 2024 AmaGroove Residency. The album will be a dynamic, genre-defying collection born from creative exchange. It’s a sonic archive of co-creation — capturing the spirit of connection, experimentation, and a shared vision for shaping the sound of tomorrow.
